I miss my in-laws, the warmth, the southern drawls, the humidity, the trees, the seafood, the hospitality, the sounds, the food, and sometimes I even miss the sound of gunshots in the distance, lulling me to sleep. (But maybe I'm just acting desperate.)
I really hope that one day life will take us back to Georgia (OR EVEN TENNESSEE). I want my babies to be little peaches that talk real slow and charm the pants off everyone, but not literally off, just metaphorically, unless they're married. Then it's ok.
just an old sweet song, keeps Georgia on my mind.

That may have made me cry... Just a tad... Well more like a tiddle

Haha! It didn't make me cry; it made me laugh! :)
I know Kentucky's not really a Deep South state, but it's beautiful, too. I would include it (and North Carolina) in the list of states I would live in.
Also, I miss the rain. And the food. And I-285 West. And huge old, beautiful churches. And winding roads.
What a state, that Georgia! :)
I find myself missing weird things about Georgia from time to time. Mostly I miss the people. I definitely don't want to return there, but I am not a fan of the heavily populated mo-towns either. The other day I heard it was well below freezing in Idaho and I must say, I wouldn't want to be there either.
