Easter and WebMD

So, on Easter morning. I woke up to Taylor looking super hot in his church clothes (I stayed behind, as I was under the weather on account of my monthly lady bill.) I walked out into the living room and turned on my new video game. It was about ten minutes into said video game that I noticed an egg sitting atop the xbox. that's when I immediately turned it off and exclaimed: "IS THIS AN EASTER EGG HUNT?!" and Taylor was acting kind of coy about it, but it was. Then I almost cried because I was overly emotional and because I thought it was so thoughtful. And so there I was, pantsless, hunting for eggs filled with candy, on our first married Easter.

and then, we later dyed eggs, which was wasn't crazy and took about 5 minutes.  Here is a picture I edited to make our life seem artsy and cool:

The next day, to my dismay, Taylor started having this pain in the left side of his lower ribs. He is a hypochondriac and I am an extreme worrier. Not the best combo for situations such as these. He started talking about collapsed lungs and I was trying to make light of it while secretly stressing in my mind. So after I got done with paper work and came home I spent the day on google trying to play doctor and figure out what was wrong with him before we spent hundreds of dollars at the doctors office since he is uninsured (where were ya on that one, OBAMA!?!?) Well, as I often do, I turned to WebMD which, in some cases has helped me, but in this case, only made things a million times worse, I typed in his symptoms and everything came up from AIDS, to colon cancer, to gas, to a pulled muscle. So that's when I finally put on my big girl pants, went to the store, bought a buttload of ibuprofen, and shoved it down his throat. and whataya know? he's starting to feel better already.

Here's a picture I edited to make this situation seem funny, artsy, and cool:

Honeymooners.

Here are some pics from our fantastic Honeymoon (I apologize in advance, I am never good at coming up with clever captions.):
This is our duck that hung out by our balcony waiting for food. I liked him.

Sunset from our hotel.

WHALE WATCHING! Which was my all time favorite thing. Even though I got a 3rd degree burn on my shoulders.

It was even more awesome in real life.

blow. hole.

We're on a boat.

That  dark spot was the whale that swam RIGHT under our boat. I think.

Whale

Whale

Bye.

Submarine Tour

We were about 100 ft down, so it wasn't very colorful.

Fish

The sleeping shark, it was actually really small, so it seemed really lame compared to the whales we saw before.

Sunken ship, that the submarine company sunk on purpose, lame.

Eagle ray

View from our hotel again.

On our way to Sushi

Oh, this was the sub. a little out of sequence with the pics.

Fat tourists on their way to the luau. I wanted to get a matching moo moo but the asian lady at the shop said it was for grandma's and wouldn't allow me to purchase it. What a buzzkill.

Helicopter tour! This was Tay's favorite.

Honestly, I don't remember the names of stuff.

west maui?

Anyway come over sometime and watch the DVD of our tour. You can hear Tay ask a lot of questions. And hear our pilot who we are unsure if he was a person or a robot. He had a very soothing voice, and we never saw his face.

Molokai

highest seacliffs ever.

Taylor really loves this picture.

We saw whales from the helicopter!!

it was awesome.

Legitimate.

We had an awesoooome time. I cry everyday and say I WANT TO GO BACK TO MAUI!!! We ate shave ice after every meal, we had breakfast outside every morning and birds would just come up and hang out by us like it was no big deal. We met some awesome locals, and we did other stuff, but I'm too lazy to write about it.

Anyway, we love each other, and we have fun together, so we probably could have enjoyed ourselves any place, but we're glad we choose Maui.

Oh, hey.

Neither of us are very good at keeping up with blogs. So I don't know what makes me so optimistic about keeping up with this one. Probably because I feel like people care a lot more about married people in the blogging world. Seriously, married people can blog about a salad and people are like "WOW GREAT AND COOL!" But if a single person were to blog about the exact same thing, nobody would care. I know, because I've been there. But alas, I am now allowed to blog about boring stuff and you are forced to care.

My basic plan is to make our life seem totally perfect, and then when I someday get pregnant, I will blog about morning sickness and how I don't have it cause I'm lucky, and then once my child is here I will fear for his/her safety and go private. But first I will write a post about going private. And then, I will continue to make our life seem totally perfect, privately.

I also plan to link every post to facebook (I will actually do this, probably.)

OH and I will sign our posts tay & kyns. But Tay will probably never actually post anything, honestly I will be lucky if he even keeps up on our blog. But who knows, he might blow everyone's minds. Including mine.

So here goes nothing..

COMING SOON: A post about our Honeymoon!
